Copying text in RTF Format

When copying the 'Object Text' text from one module into another, to preserve any special fonts, I am using the commands

    setRichClip richText(o."Object Text")     // Copies from module 1 to clipboard

   ....

   o1."Object Text" = richClip                     // Pastes from clipboard to module 2

The text that is pasted into module 2 is correct except that an extra linefeed is added.  Is there an easy way to prevent this extra linefeed from being added into what is pasted into module 2?

Object n would be other module object

Object c = current
Object n = //Object of other module

set(n."Object Text", c."Object Text")
